Tamil Language Festival 2025

Tamil Language Festival 2025

The Tamil Language Festival (TLF) was first launched in 2007 to celebrate and promote the use of Tamil in daily life. The festival serves as a platform for the Tamil community to engage in literary, cultural, and oratorical activities. It is a collaborative effort supported by Tamil organisations, community partners, and government agencies.

TLF 2026 will be held from Friday, 5 March to Sunday, 4 April 2026. This year’s festival will be conducted virtually, featuring a variety of programmes including storytelling, poetry recitals, debates, and cultural performances. The festival continues to champion the theme: “Love Tamil, Speak Tamil”, encouraging everyone to embrace and use Tamil in their everyday interactions.
